Barry Allen Cohen is an award-winning professional musician.
Not only an accomplished guitarist but also lead singer for the Big Daddy Orchestra. He has shared the stage as opening act for nationally known recording artists as Bonnie Raitt, Oleta Adams, Fattburger, Warren Zevon, Jonathan Butler, Max Groove, Joyce Cooling, Mindi Abair, Slim Man and Michael Buble. Barry offers ‘live’ classical guitar (ceremony), 'live' latin guitar/smooth jazz guitar (cocktail), ‘live’ pop/jazz vocals (dinner) and DJ/MC music (dancing).
From elegant classical music and beautiful jazz/pop ballads to lively dance tunes, Barry has the sound to create the atmosphere you want. His versatile repertoire is perfectly suited for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Barry brings over ten years of professional experience performing at weddings, corporate events, hotels and concerts. As a solo one man band, Barry will perform ‘live’ guitar or vocals along with his professionally recorded band tracks, providing you with the sound of a full band ensemble. His recorded tracks are played on digital state-of-the-art sound equipment. The sound system delivers smooth, uniform coverage with crisp and detailed sound. Barry’s gentle classical melodies, smooth Brazilian rhythms, spicy flamenco, nostalgic covers and upbeat jazz standards have captivated thousands of guests at weddings, hotels, parties and special events.
